I. Introduction to Generator

Therefore, many problems are brought about in maintenance and safe operation. Therefore, an alternator is mostly used in modern generators. The alternator is divided into synchronous generator and asynchronous generator. It can also be divided into single-phase generator and three-phase generator. As the asynchronous generator cannot provide reactive power to the load, and it also needs to draw the hysteresis magnetizing current from the connected power grid, the application range of the asynchronous generator can only be applied to small automatic hydropower stations. At present, no matter the domestic or imported generators of the company's self-provided power stations use rotating magnetic pole type synchronous generators.
Second, the generator principle
The generator consists of two parts: the stationary part is called the stator, which includes the frame, the stator core, the stator winding, the end cover, the bearing cover and the stator of the AC exciter; the rotating part is called the rotor, which covers the rotor It consists of iron core, magnetic pole winding, shaft, bearing, fan, armature of AC exciter and rotating rectifier.
